Friday Circus Skills
A friendly, welcoming, open session for anyone to come and have a go at circus skills including juggling, diobolo, flower sticks, unicycling, poi and more.
We meet every Friday 6.00-8.00pm during term time at St Andrew's Church Hall, Skipton or in Aireville Park when the weather is good in the summer.
£5 per juggler or £10 for a family but please don't let money get in the way and contribute whatever you can afford. If you come for a first session and don't stay, don't pay!
Non-juggling parents and carers are free.
Tea, coffee (and usually cake) for a donation.
No need to pre-book or commit to more than one session. Come along and have a go, we have lots of kit to borrow and skills to share.
It is increasingly rare for us to to find good spaces for our teenage son as he gets older, where his quirks of behaviour are understood and accepted, he enjoys the activity and he feels comfortable.
Skipton Circus group on Friday is our son's favourite event of the week. It is well organised, welcoming, friendly, fun and excellent at accommodating everyone. It is run by and attracts skilled people who are happy to support members of the group whether beginners or expert.
Claudia
Skipton Circus Skills is the most welcoming and inclusive group I have ever been to with my 16 year old autistic daughter. The leaders are very skilled, but also very patient and gracious in passing in their skills to beginners and improvers alike, both young and old.
Skipton Circus Skills is everything a local community group should be!
